Job Description :-
Modifications and enhancements of code related to the 0908release for Opus. Extensive experience in managing implementation and delivery of IT solutions using J2EE technologies. Understand the long term architecture strategy for the overall project and other key business segments. Develop strategy for the program and acts as key contact point for all decisions within a given program. Conduct project meetings to ensure deliverables are on track and responsiblities are delegated appropriately. Mitigate project risks and assigning action items/dates to relevant persons/teams. Conduct Client Status Reports/Meetings. Advises teams on standard requirements, standards, methodology and processes in accordance with enterprise standards. Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems and critical design issues. Works independently and will collaborate with other project managers and lead PM as applicable.
Education/Experience Requirements :-
10+ years of overall IT experience. 6+ years of experience in managing large enterprise level projects (preferably J2EE applications). Project Managers certification (PMP) is a huge plus. Wireless/Telecom domain knowledge is a plus. Excellent and effective communication skills - verbal and written. Past experience in development/management/architechture of J2EE applications is a huge plus. Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work and build relationships effectively as part of a project team and foster team co-operation. Comfortable assessing choices and risks/trade-offs associated with those choices. High-level knowledge of core technologies, including enterprise platforms, open standards, security frameworks, database, business intelligence, and integration technologies. Practical experience leveraging agile and iterative life-cycle methods for solutions development. Excellent time management skills and ability to take responsibility. Ability to analyze, recognize and anticipate problems (technical, operational, process, organizational). Identify the best solution in a timely manner when choices are presented. Demonstrate leadership experience including managing timelines in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to effectively communicate project information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
